This site is about something that matters, and what matters most.
The site is about Jesus Christ, the Anointed One, Messiah, Yeshua haMashiach. It is about God's people, Jew and Gentile and is presented with information about attaining unity in the body of Christ and what it is that God has accomplished. He has made the two one. This site is meant to encourage believers to do what they can to help the body attain to the unity and maturity that God desires.
Each page on this site has various Scriptures, commentaries, and/or articles. I have tried to categorize these under specific tabs, and some have sub categories for easier reference. There are many resources presented, so please check them out.
A link to another site does not imply an endorsement of that site or the views and information presented there.
I do not recommend them, endorse them or promote them.
But if anything really interests you, and the Lord stirs your heart and soul , you will be able to do further research on your own. The articles chosen for this site are to get you thinking and to provide you with some things you may have not considered. It is wise to base your beliefs on the truths of God's Word and not on any view that man has placed on it. Hold everything up to the plumb line of God's Word and test it. Use the Holy Spirit as your guide to truth, and ask for discernment from Him. I have learned from many different pastors and teachers, and through other printed matter, but unfortunately there is some teaching that is not taught in context and often carries a nice message, but one that is not the intent of the Scripture passage. It is our responsibility to handle the Word of God accurately and to check out everything that we hear with what God says in Scripture.
Studying the Bible inductively is a great way to discover the truth of God's Word. The inductive method is studying the context, the historical setting, the issues and problems that were being faced, and looking at the original Hebrew and Greek words. It involves research to fully understand the times and the culture of the era you are reading about. All of this is important to get the understanding of the message God was conveying through the situation at that time. You will discover that many familiar verses of Scripture have been used in ways that they were never meant to. I study inductively on my own and through some local Precept Ministry Bible classes. My encouragement to you is to stay in the Word of God and learn truth for yourself. By having the truth, your beliefs will be biblically sound and you will be able to discern false teaching. You will grow not only in knowledge and understanding, but also in wisdom and in a greater intimacy with God. You need to know God so you can know the will of God for your own life and so you will be able to live in a way that is pleasing to Him. You need to know God's Word so you are not deceived by the system of the world which is contrary to what God teaches.
The body consists of believers from around the world. We often think of our own church or congregation as the body. We often believe that we are doing things the right way and other denominations or congregations aren’t. But each congregational body of believers is such a small part of the whole. Christ is the head, and some parts of the body are trying to take His place. The body of Christ, our Messiah, is a diverse group of believers. I am disappointed over the prejudice that remains among believers, against their own brothers and sisters of the faith. It is my intention to bring that to the attention of believers across denominational lines and to address some of the issues. The issues will be presented to provoke your thinking and encourage you to grow into a greater unity of the faith. We are all in process in the maturing process. Just don't allow your spiritual life to go stagnant.
Christians do well to understand the Jewish roots of the faith. We have the Word of God because of the Jews. The Jews do well to understand that the Gentiles have been grafted in and have a role in God's plan. There are problem areas in every denomination or congregation to which I could point, but that is not my intention. As the saying goes, for every finger you point, there are four pointing back at yourself. I am as much of the problem as anyone. We have not done well in embracing our brothers and sisters in their journey of faith. We are all pretty good at ridicule and judging. We need to have our hearts re-adjusted to what is on God’s heart and with what aligns up with God's Word.
Our busy lives are good excuses for not taking the time to look inward, to be honest with ourselves about our relationship to God and how well we are doing in walking out the life He intended for us. I think many of us are afraid of what we will see there in our heart; our desires and our selfish goals in life. We are more comfortable with just remaining as we are; not dealing with the matters of the soul. Some of us believe that we are doing fine. We live life peaceably and don’t cause any waves. That is where Satan wants us to be. He wants us to remain deceived that we are doing alright just as we are, when in fact we are ignoring God, His Word, and not listening to what God is saying.
Allow the love of God to operate in and through you. Make decisions based on your identity in Jesus Christ. Walk in the power and authority that flows from His Word and Spirit. Passionately live out the unique purpose you were created for.
How much are you concerned about this one life that you have to live?
Do you care about the condition of your soul enough to spend some time to become healthier and to grow spiritually?
There is nothing that matters more than what God wants. Being selfish in our nature, we have to make an earnest attempt, with the power of the Holy Spirit, to continue growing toward the maturity and unity that God wants us to attain to. We have all done plenty to hinder it.
Do you place people under judgment for something you think they should do, or not do?
Have you looked at yourself through God's eyes?
Do you understand what Yeshua was teaching during His earthly ministry?
Are you religious, do you attend church regularly but not in an imtimate relationship with your Father?
Have you gotten just a little off course?
Has your interest in godly things become dull, boring or grown cold?
Have you become confused about what you believe and how you are to live it out in your daily living?
Are you a rebellious child?
Our God has a better way for you to live your life.
"Therefore, I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." Eph. 4:1-3
"And my God will supply all your needs according to the riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever. Amen. Phil 4:19-20
"Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible love". Eph 6:24
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Phil 4:23
14 The Messiah has made things up between us so that we're now together on this, both non-Jewish outsiders and Jewish insiders. He tore down the wall we used to keep each other at a distance. 15 He repealed the law code that had become so clogged with fine print and footnotes that it hindered more than it helped. Then he started over. Instead of continuing with two groups of people separated by centuries of animosity and suspicion, he created a new kind of human being, a fresh start for everybody. 16 Christ brought us together through his death on the Cross. The Cross got us to embrace, and that was the end of the hostility. 17 Christ came and preached peace to you outsiders and peace to us insiders. 18 He treated us as equals, and so made us equals. Through him we both share the same Spirit and have equal access to the Father. 19 That's plain enough, isn't it? You're no longer wandering exiles. This kingdom of faith is now your home country. You're no longer strangers or outsiders. You belong here, with as much right to the name Christian as anyone. God is building a home. He's using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what he is building. 20 He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now he's using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone 21 that holds all the parts together. We see it taking shape day after day—a holy temple built by God, 22 all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home. Eph 2:14-22 (MSG)
