WELCOME TO
'ONE IN MESSIAH'
website

How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity.
It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion.
Psalm 133: 1 and 3

JEW AND GENTILE
AS ONE
The Menorah, is a seven branched candelabra which Moses was commanded to make for the tabernacle by the LORD, and is described in Exod 25:31-37; 37:17-24 It was not strictly a "candlestick," as it held seven richly-adorned lamps. This is a symbol used to identify Jews. When combined with the Christian symbol as it is here, it refers to Jews who have come to faith in their Messiah, The Annointed One, the Son of God, and know Him as their Savior.
ichthys, the symbol of the fish is used by Christian (Gentiles believers) who want to identify themselves as followers of Jesus Christ. It comes from the ancient Greek word for fish. It is IXEYO and is an acronym coming from the words that mean ‘Jesus Christ God’s Son is Savior.’ This symbol dates back as far as the first century. Jesus had told His disciples He would make them fishers of men, which is spreading the good news of Jesus, Matthew 4:19, and was probably a simple means used to identify themselves.
And this is God’s plan: Both Gentiles and Jews who believe the Good News share equally in the riches inherited by God’s children. Both are part of the same body, and both enjoy the promise of blessings because they belong to Christ Jesus. Eph 3:6 (NLT)
God’s purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.11 This was his eternal plan, which he carried out through Christ Jesus our Lord.12 Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence. Eph 3:10-12 (NLT)

Jew (a man of Judea). This name was properly applied to a member of the kingdom of Judah after the separation of the ten tribes. The term first makes its appearance just before the captivity of the ten tribes. The term first makes it appearance just before the captivity of the ten tribes. 2 Kin 16:6 After the return the word received a larger application. Partly from the predominance of the members of the old kingdom of Judah among those who returned to Palestine, partly from the identification of Judah with the religious ideas and hopes of the people, all the members of the new state were called Jews (Judeans) and the name was extended to the remnants of the race scattered throughout the nations.—Smith's Bible Dictionary
Gentiles Gen'tiles (nations). All the people who were not Jews were so called by them, being aliens from the worship, rites and privileges of Israel. The word was used contemptuously by them. In the New Testament it is used as equivalent to Greek. This use of the word seems to have arisen from the almost universal adaption
of the Greek language. —Smith's Bible Dictionary

Jew and Gentile are one in Messiah because
of the finished work of Jesus Christ.(Yeshua HaMashiach)
We are both now one in the body of Christ in the spiritual sense.
Christ is the head, the cornerstone
of the temple that is not built with hands. All true
believers are being fit into the spiritual temple.

Perhaps the greatest barrier to the spread of the Good News in the first century was the Jewish-Gentile conflict. Most of the early believers were Jewish, and they thought it scandalous even to think of associating with Gentiles. But God told Peter to take the Good News to a Roman, and Peter obeyed despite his background and personal feelings. God was making it clear that the Good News of Christ as the Savior, Messiah, was for everyone. We should not allow any barrier-language, culture, race, geography, economic level, or educational level – to keep us from telling others about Christ.
There is still a conflict between Jews and Gentiles. Believers in the same God and the same Messiah are united as one in the body of Christ spiritually. How can we bridge the gap that remains, keeping us at a distance, and bring a change in attitude toward one another? Education is a beginning. Scriptures address the issue in the early church. There are some wrong beliefs that still need to be addressed in this age. Some of them are addressed here on these pages. It is my hope and belief that education and an open heart filled with compassion for all God’s people will begin a restoration process.
This site is presented to be an aide through the power
of the Holy Spirit,
to educate both Jewish and Gentile believers,
to break down the barriers that we have erected,
to foster a greater understanding,
to bring unity in the faith,
to bring mutual respect for one another,
for the building up of the church and
attaining to maturity in the body of Christ
our MESSIAH
as the one new man.
... that you would walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:1-3
...to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ (Messiah) may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:12-13 NIV
I appeal to you brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.
1 Corinthians 1:10 (NIV)

5 May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus.6 Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.7 Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.8 Remember that Christ came as a servant to the Jews to show that God is true to the promises he made to their ancestors
Romans 15:5-8 (NLT)
